The Lion in Winter – now open!

The Lion in Winter opens tonight at the Theatre Upstairs and is playing until Saturday 29 February. Join us for a roar-some family take-down that you won’t forget in a hurry. A stellar cast, stunning costumes, a lighting plot that will make you gasp out loud and some truly epic performances.

Set during Christmas 1183, The Lion in Winter tells the wickedly amusing tale of King Henry II, his imprisoned queen (released only for the holiday), and their three entitled sons who vie for the throne in a double-dealing division of the kingdom. Plotting, scheming, back-stabbing and that’s just the first act!

Join us this week for an evening to remember. Tickets are £10 and £5 for students.
