An evening of good music, with Helen Speed and Steve McNichol

The Nickel combines Helen Speed's vocals, with Steve McNichol at the piano. Neither Steve nor Helen are strangers to the Theatre Upstairs, and we're delighted that they've chosen the theatre for the official launch of their new musical venture. Helen and Steve will be presenting an evening of the music that they love; the two sets will encompass a range of styles and influences, including jazz, blues, contemporary ballads, and some show tunes, in an intimate cabaret setting.

They are looking to take their act outside of the theatre environment, and will be only too happy to consider bookings for weddings, corporate events, pubs and clubs, etc.

Steve and Helen are looking forward to seeing friends and lovers of good music joining them on Friday, so come along and share an evening of songs for a hazy lazy summer night.

Doors open 7pm; performance starts at 8pm with an interval. The theatre bar will be open all evening. Tickets cost £5.
